Job Overview:

Join our team at Thomaston Power Equipment as a Small Engine Mechanic, where you will play a vital role in our local power equipment store. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, ensuring that our customers receive a high level of service and support.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as generators, seasonal lawn equipment, and snow equipment.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various machinery.

- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot problems efficiently.

- Collaborate with the service technician team to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Skills:

- MUST HAVE Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools.

- Familiarity with Gravely, Cub Cadet and/or Toro equipment is a plus.

- Ability to keep a clean and organized work environment. 

- Proficiency in using power tools for repair work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
